SwampBrain is being built with the intention of becoming self-supporting through advertising. Tips help us continue building while that advertising base grows.
If advertising revenue reaches the point where it can reliably support SwampBrain, our intention is to stop asking readers for tips.
We would rather build a useful site that can remain freely available than put Louisiana political and civic information behind a subscription or paywall.
